Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation). Collaborates with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate. Maintain licensure and certifications, adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics, and participate in ongoing competency development. 40 hours/week evening shifts with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings; includes weekend and rotating holiday coverage; eligibility for benefits and sign-on bonus. Requires RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred; multistate licensure if in an NLC state; experience with care coordination and resident education is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state (NLC)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Possesses appropriate competencies and certifications per department requirements
