Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting during evening shifts. Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to plan, execute, and evaluate resident care, collaborating with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Maintain practice within the Nurse Practice Act and ethical standards; ensure safe, reliable care and address resident care needs. Requires RN licensure and nursing program education; preferred bachelor’s degree in nursing and graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Shift: evenings 2:15pm–10:45pm; 32 hours/week with every other weekend and rotating holidays; additional shift differentials for evenings/weekends; benefits include medical, dental, and vision; includes $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered RN license
- State Board of Nursing licensure (or multi-state licensure if NLC state)
- Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
