Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Full Time Evenings in a Long Term Care setting. Provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborates with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Requires RNlicense; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Schedule: 32 hours/week, evenings 2:15pm–10:45pm, every other weekend and rotating holidays; shift differentials on evenings/weekends; benefits include medical, dental, and vision. Duties include care coordination, resident assessment, education, and execution of nursing interventions in accordance with state practice acts and ethical nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multi-state licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
