Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care, educate residents, and support safety and quality outcomes. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and ethical guidelines. Requires evening shift coverage (2:15pm–10:45pm), with every-other weekend and rotating holidays, and additional shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered RN license state board of nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA)
