Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation). Collaborates with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within scope and competence. Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and standards; ensure safe, high-quality resident care with attention to care coordination, resident education, and performance of nursing interventions. This role operates evenings (2:15 PM–10:45 PM) with a 32-hour weekly schedule, includes every other weekend and rotating holidays, and offers shift differentials and an attractive benefits package; sign-on bonus of $10,000. Requires RN licensure, nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred), and ongoing competencies/certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
- RN/Licensure in appropriate state
- Nurse Practice Act adherence
