Job Summary
RN in a long-term care setting providing individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process; collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel; supports care coordination and adherence to Nursing Practice Act and standards; shift is full-time evenings (2:15pm–10:45pm) with every other weekend and rotating holidays, 32 hours per week, with shift differentials and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
