Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents in a Long Term Care setting using the nursing process, coordinating with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Requires RN licensure and a nursing degree (preferred Bachelor’s) with eligibility for licensure in Minnesota; 32-hour evening shift (2:15pm–10:45pm) with every other weekend and rotating holidays; additional shift differentials and comprehensive benefits. Applies standard nursing standards and ethics, supports resident education and care coordination, and adheres to state nursing regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing (preferred)
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs
- multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
