Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - Evening shift in Long Term Care. Provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams, and may serve as charge nurse. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care; and maintaining professional conduct per nursing standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license and eligibility for licensure in the practicing state; preferred to have a Bachelor's in nursing and to graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program. Evening shifts run 2:15pm–10:45pm with every other weekend and rotating holidays; benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Includes responsibilities such as resident education, coordination of care, and collaboration with other team members; may require delegation to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing (preferred)
- RN licensure is required to practice nursing
