Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in a long-term care setting providing individualized nursing care using the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse; delegates tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel; ensures safe administration of resident care and compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and ethics for nursing practice. Responsibilities include resident assessment, education, care coordination, and supporting quality care during evening shifts (32 hours/week, evenings 2:15pm–10:45pm, includes every other weekend and rotating holidays) with shift differentials and eligible benefits. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure in state, and ongoing competencies; bachelor’s degree preferred. Benefits and a $10,000 sign-on bonus are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
