Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, collaborating with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care and adherence to standards. Demonstrates competency in the full scope of nursing practice and uses population-specific standards. Evening shifts (2:15pm–10:45pm) with every other weekend and rotating holidays; 32 hours per week; eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits; $10,000 sign-on bonus. RN license required; BSN preferred; licensure requirements include state board certification or multistate licensure as applicable; employment requires drug screening and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred)
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state (NLC)
- Completion of drug screen and pre-employment background screening
- Nursing leadership/charge nurse potential experience or capability
- Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act and ethics for nursing
- Accredited nursing program graduation preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
