Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) needed for Full-Time Evening shift in a Long-Term Care setting. The role involves applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized resident care, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate care, and possibly serving as charge nurse. Requires current RN licensure and a nursing certificate/competency in the applicable state; BSN preferred. Responsibilities include coordinating care, resident assessment and education, and delegating tasks per licensure and staff capabilities. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Evening shifts from 2:15pm–10:45pm, with every other weekend and rotating holidays; additional shift differentials apply. Care is provided in a not-for-profit senior-care environment governed by applicable Nurse Practice Act standards and ethical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA) preferred; Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure (NLC) state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Shift: Evening, 8 Hours; 32 hours/week; 2:15pm–10:45pm; Every other weekend and rotating holidays
- Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Drug screen and pre-employment background check required
- Long Term Care nursing practice context (nursing process, care coordination)
