Job Summary
RN - Full Time Days: Provide comprehensive nursing care in a jail setting, including administering medications, conducting medical intakes, assessing fitness for incarceration, responding to sick calls, changing dressings, performing 14-day physicals, managing chronic care, addressing medical emergencies, and providing patient education. Maintain pharmacology knowledge, supervise Medically Trained Personnel as needed, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Located at Cass County Jail, Logansport, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN licensure
- Valid CPR certification
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
