Job Summary
Lead interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate care appropriateness and smooth transitions for complex patients in the Medical Observation Unit. Provide direct, safe patient care using the nursing process while coordinating assigned shifts to achieve clinical outcomes. Participate in unit councils and Nursing Quality Teams to improve NDNQI indicators, RN satisfaction, and patient experience data. Serve as a resource for students and actively seek feedback to enhance clinical practice and team performance. Maintain de-escalation training certification and model safe work hours, time management, and stewardship within the shared governance model.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma
- At least 1 year of RN experience
- Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations
- Meets experience requirements upon hire
- As appropriate for work unit

- Keyboarding
Desired Qualifications
- Capable clinician with previous specialty experience
- BSN
- De-escalation training certification
