Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Coordinate care plans, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education while collaborating with interdisciplinary providers and families. Manage all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment, ensuring safe administration of tasks to delegated personnel. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation on 12-hour day shifts. Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
