Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement preventative health measures for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers and families to plan, evaluate, and resolve care concerns while demonstrating full scope competency. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as charge nurse when appropriate, ensuring safe administration of care within state Nurse Practice Act standards. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation on 12-hour day shifts with a $30,000 sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
