Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment across all phases of preventative health and diagnosis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and families to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe administration of care and resolution of service concerns. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation with 12-hour day shifts. Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to quality senior care in a Christian environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
