Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to plan and coordinate care across all phases of preventative health, diagnosis, and treatment. Perform resident education, administer treatments, and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within the scope of practice. May serve as charge nurse. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation on 12-hour day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
