Job Summary
Manage medications and provide clinical care in skilled neighborhoods while planning, directing, and evaluating resident care to ensure every need is met. Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and families on resident status, address concerns, and escalate as needed. Complete assessments, maintain accurate Resident Care Plans, and document care issues appropriately using sound clinical judgment. Supervise and coach ancillary care staff and support new resident move-ins for smooth transitions. Requires a Colorado Registered Nursing License, strong clinical judgment in medication management, and experience in long-term care facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Colorado Registered Nursing License in good standing
- Fluent in English—reading, writing, and speaking
- Ready to stay active
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment with exposure to chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and infectious diseases
- Prepared to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout your shift
- Thriving in a dynamic setting with frequent interruptions and multitasking
- Energized by frequent interactions with residents, families, and visitors
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced training in geriatrics
- 1+ year of long-term care facility experience
- 1+ year in a supervisory role
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Customer service superpowers
