Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with low-risk pregnancies, performing comprehensive assessments, interpreting clinical data, and responding promptly to changes in patient conditions. Provide compassionate, culturally responsive education to expectant parents using teach-back strategies while advocating for their values and informed decision-making. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and policy development. Adhere to evidence-based standards, National Patient Safety Goals, and regulatory documentation requirements including DPH, TJC, and Medicare. Work rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am) with every other weekend rotation, holidays, and 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Current or conditional Massachusetts RN license
- American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- NRP certification
- BSN preferred

- Perinatal, Labor & Delivery, or Postpartum nursing experience
