Job Summary
Assess resident health by interviewing patients and obtaining medical histories, administer medications and immunizations per established protocols, and monitor and record vital signs and medical information accurately. Maintain up-to-date patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to professional nursing standards and ethical practices. Stay informed about current nursing practices and regulations to provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations. Full-time position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus, competitive wage based on experience, and benefits including health insurance, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement. Join Sprenger Health Care's team of 12 nursing homes and assisted living communities across Ohio and South Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current and unrestricted RN license issued by the state nursing board
- Valid CPR certification
- Proven experience as an RN in various clinical settings
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing care
- Ability to adapt quickly to different work environments and provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
