Job Summary
RN - FT Nights at Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO. The RN leads and directs care on the assigned unit, plans and delivers direct resident care, and participates in staffing and performance evaluations. Responsibilities include charting, documentation, assessment, participating in committees, and supporting an interdisciplinary process. Required: current Colorado RN licensure, CPR, CEUs; long-term care experience preferred. Night shift 6pm-6am Thu/Fri/Sat with every other Sun 10pm-6am; salary from $37.45-$44.95/hour plus $2.25 night differential. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR Certification
- Maintenance of required CEU’s
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- The primary purpose of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to utilize the nursing process in planning and providing direct care to residents as assigned
- The nurse will plan, direct and carry out shift routines in assigned nursing unit and observe, direct and evaluate the activities of personnel as the person “in charge” according to the Nurse Practice Act
- Will assume “Building Charge” responsibilities as directed by the DON or Designee
