Job Summary
Organize inpatient procedures to ensure proper patient admission, accurate paperwork, and successful patient outcomes through implemented nursing care plans. Prepare for patient admissions, provide care during procedures, and manage discharges in accordance with OneCore Health policies. Recognize and respond to emergency situations following ACLS protocols and physician orders to prevent adverse outcomes. Perform appropriate nursing duties for pain management, restock supplies, and verify medication expiration dates. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes while ensuring pre-operative requirements are met before surgery. Requires current Oklahoma RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and one year of PACU, ICU, or pre-operative experience. Full-time night shift with long-term standing and physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma
- BLS
- ACLS
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Cognitive skills for math, reading, filing and sterile technique skills
- Vision for near, mid-range, far and accommodation
- Hearing for low, medium, and high pitch
- Physical ability for long term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist
- Ability to lift 30 - 75 pounds
- One-year experience in PACU, Emergency or ICU
- One-year pre-operative experience in Surgery Hospital or Hospital setting
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS certification obtained within 6 months if not currently certified
- Minimum of one-year experience in PACU, Emergency or ICU preferred
- One-year pre-operative experience in Surgery Hospital or Hospital setting preferred
