Job Summary
Provide patient care in the Infusion department using the nursing process; coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and uphold Mercy Service Standards and mission. Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness and ensuring professional accountability for the assigned patients, with opportunities for certification requirements as applicable to the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ability to obtain required certifications (ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/etc. as needed)
- Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking; dexterity for gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
