Job Summary
Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs and developing nursing care plans. Maintain medical records, educate patients and families on conditions, and ensure physicians' orders are legible and transcribed appropriately. Accurately administer medications, document controlled substance counts, and notify physicians of significant status changes regarding detox, emergencies, or medication responses. Complete admission and discharge processing, demonstrate universal precautions, and exhibit therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries. Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and co-workers, and provide direction for unit activities as directed. Shifts are full-time, day or nights (12-hour), with a current RN license and one year of nursing experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements
- One year of nursing experience
- CPR certification
- de-escalation certification
- restraint certification

- First aid certification
