Job Summary
Assess patients, administer injections and immunizations, and assist physicians with examinations and diagnostic procedures. Perform history and physicals, interpret medical testing, and complete physical assessments to order labs per protocol. Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and medication adherence while documenting all interventions and critical values in the medical record. Collaborate with the physician and staff to promote health, maintain standards of practice, and recommend referrals to specialized resources. Requires current Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and knowledge of the nursing process.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing
- Current license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Ohio
- Current nursing experience
- Currently certified in BLS
- Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Successful completion of a ninety (90) day probationary period
