Job Summary
Deliver compassionate trauma-informed care to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, elder abuse, and child battering, including evidence collection, physical and emotional assessment, and treatment. Provide direct nursing care for assigned patients while coordinating education processes and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans. Assess comprehensive nursing needs, communicate relevant information and patient condition changes to supervisors and physicians, and document updates timely. Requires BLS certification and current Washington or NLC licensure. Per diem pay ranges from $48.21 to $87.11 per hour with additional rates for BSN/MSN degrees. SANE-A certification and Master's degree are desired qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program (Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and/or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington OR holding a multistate Nurse Licensure compact (NLC) license
- Minimum 2 years' experience in nursing
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS-Americal Hert Association by start date
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Core training as Forensic Nurse examiner
- SANE-A certification
- Master's degree in Nursing
