RN - FMC Postpartum (.9 FTE, Day)

Deliver direct postpartum nursing care to patients within the Family Maternity Center, assess comprehensive nursing needs, educate patients and families, plan and evaluate care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and communicate changes promptly to the charge nurse/supervisor and physician. Self-scheduling position requiring adherence to established standards of care, unit policies, and guidelines. Qualifications include RN licensure in WA, graduation from a nursing program, at least 1 year of postpartum RN experience, and BLS (AHA) with NRP due within 4 weeks of hire; preferred BSN/MSN.
