Job Summary
The RN Float Pool at Allegheny General Hospital is responsible for providing critical care to patients across various areas within the ICU. The role requires clinical assessment, care planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams while mentoring new nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience required in ICU
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
