Job Summary
RN Float Pool delivers quality nursing care using the nursing process, assigned to ad hoc duties across potential nursing units to support heavy workloads or cover for absent staff. Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards and complies with medical center policy, mission, and practice guidelines. Requires licensure in Vermont, BLS, BCLS, and ACLS per subsidiary guidelines; BSN preferred. Minimum two years of experience in an acute care or specialty setting with telemetry experience; strong basic computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing. This role supports flexible assignment in Rutland, VT, within a hospital/medical center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Vermont
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- BCLS Certified; ACLS course per guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- 2 years experience in acute care or specialty nursing including telemetry
