Job Summary
RN, Float Pool, Per Diem responsible for planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to standards of nursing practice. Responsibilities include patient assessment/reassessment, development and coordination of individual plans of care (including discharge planning), supervising and delegating to others, documenting care, educating patients/families, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare providers. Participates in Nursing Governance, supports quality improvement, and upholds the six Standards of Respect. Requires Massachusetts RN licensure/registration and BLS; ACLS as applicable. Schedule details include 4 shifts per month with mixed hours; per diem, part-time status.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts licensure and registration as a registered nurse
- Completion of an accredited school of nursing program
- BLS certification (ACLS certification conditionally required if current)
