Job Summary
Float Pool RN delivering patient-centered nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting, applying clinical judgment and nursing skills to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care; collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care, report changes, document timely and accurately, maintain confidentiality, and support a positive patient experience; required to hold a Diploma or Associate's Degree in nursing with current RN licensure in Virginia (or multi-state compact) and obtain BCLS within 30 days and ACLS within one year.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
