Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care for all age groups while coordinating activities with ancillary departments to optimize care and comfort. Perform duties consistent with nursing practice guidelines, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and Mercy ServiceStandards. Float to ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg units, and Acute Rehab based on experience. Obtain and maintain current RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Work 36 hours per week on night shifts with opportunities for tuition support and matched retirement plans.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
