Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care for all age groups while coordinating with ancillary departments to optimize care. Monitor and coordinate patient activities across multiple units including ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg, and Acute Rehab based on experience. Provide compassionate, hard-working, and flexible support within the established guidelines of nursing practice and Mercy ServiceStandards. Develop clinical assessment skills and sharpen communication and teamwork abilities in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 36 hours per week, Nights
