Job Summary
Float Pool RN providing direct patient care to multiple units (ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg, Acute Rehab) across age groups. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, coordinating with ancillary departments, and maintaining compliance with nursing practice guidelines, Mercy ServiceStandards, and state nurse regulations. Eligible for Premium Night Shift Sign-On bonuses: Graduate Nurse $10,000; Experienced Nurse $13,000. Unit rotations based on experience and staffing needs; 36 hours weekly, Nights, Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO. Requires an RN license (state or compact) and BLS certification; benefits available after 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or documentation.
- 36 hours per week, Nights
- Float Pool role may require licensure and eligibility for hospital-based units: ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg, Acute Rehab.
