Job Summary
Provide patient care for assigned patients across rotating units including the Emergency Department, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical. Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining professional accountability and confidentiality within the scope of nursing practice. Develop clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills while working alongside dedicated professionals in a fast-paced environment. Rotate assignments as needed to support the mission-driven community of caregivers at Mercy Hospital Washington.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements)
- 1+ year RN experience preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts
Desired Qualifications
- ICU experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
