Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards, supervising staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans while evaluating progress toward outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing environments, providing learning opportunities and direct health information. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegates duties appropriately to the healthcare team. Requires BSN, RN licensure, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
