RN Float Pool - Critical Care

RN Float Pool - Critical Care role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on a neuro-focused unit under supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Duties include supervising non-RN personnel, acting as charge nurse when needed, precepting new staff, and supporting education and discharge planning. Requires registration as a RN with a Connecticut license and at least 1 year of acute nursing experience; BSN is preferred. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment, airway management for neuro patients, care of tracheostomy patients, suctioning, ventilator care, and familiarity with the TiA teaching program. Strong emphasis on patient-centered care, teamwork, and adherence to unit policies.
