RN Float Pool – Critical Care role involving assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care on a nursing unit with supervision of non-RN personnel; responsibilities include serving as preceptor and charge nurse, coordinating care across the continuum, and applying neuro-focused skills (neuro assessment, airway management, tracheostomy suctioning, care for ventilated patients, and halo brace management) with emphasis on education and collaboration with the healthcare team; requires BSN preferred, 1 year acute nursing experience, CT RN license, and BLS.
