Registered Nurse Float Pool – Critical Care in New York City (Coney Island), NY. Responsibilities include assessing patients continuously, developing and documenting individualized plans of care, implementing and coordinating care with the healthcare team, evaluating patient responses and readiness for discharge, and revising plans as needed. Functions include education of patients and families, precepting new staff, and serving as Charge Nurse. Demonstrates competencies in neuro care, airway management for neuro patients, care of tracheostomy and ventilated patients, and familiarity with neuro procedures and teaching programs. Requires 1 year acute nursing experience, and CT RN license; BSN preferred. BLS required. Flexible coverage with potential cross-unit assignments; strong teamwork and patient-centered approach emphasized.
