RN Float Pool – Critical Care

RN Float Pool – Critical Care role involving assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care on a nursing unit/department; supervision of non-RN personnel; acts as Charge Nurse and Preceptor; demonstrates neuro care skills including neuro assessment, airway management, and care for ventilated and trached patients; familiar with Halo brace, Halo procedures, and the TA teaching program; provides education after assessment of learning needs and readiness of patient/family; undertakes performance duties to ensure unit operation and patient care quality.
