RN Float Pool - Critical Care

The RN Float Pool in Critical Care provides patient-centered nursing across units, including neuro and respiratory patient care, with responsibilities to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise patient care; act as charge nurse; precept new staff; coordinate care and education; perform neuro assessments, airway management, suctioning (pharyngeal, endotracheal, tracheostomy), ventilator care, and care for patients withHalo braces and other neuro procedures; develop and document a care plan in collaboration with the healthcare team; educate patients and families and ensure high-quality service while maintaining unit operations.
