RN Float Pool – Critical Care

RN Float Pool – Critical Care role providing patient care, assessment, plan of care, supervision of non-RN personnel, precepting, and charge-nurse responsibilities on a Neuro/Critical Care unit. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, development and communication of care plans, care coordination with the healthcare team, patient and family education, and ensuring readiness for discharge. Possesses skills in neuro assessment, airway management, ventilator care, tracheostomy suctioning, and handling of neuro procedures, with familiarity of the organization’s TIA teaching program and supervision of staff as applicable.
