RN Float Pool - Critical Care

RN Float Pool - Critical Care: Assesss, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises patient care on a nursing unit with a neuro focus; provides supervision of non-RN personnel, may assume charge roles, and serves as a preceptor. Responsibilities include developing and communicating a plan of care, coordinating with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, and ensuring readiness for discharge. Demonstrates competency in neuro patient care, airway management, care of trached patients, and supports the TIA teaching program; performs pharyngeal, endotracheal, and tracheostomy suctioning per policy; utilization of equipment and care of patients on ventilators. Requires BSN for preferred qualification and 1 year acute nursing experience; CT RN license required; BLS. Hospital setting in Malden, MA.
