RN Float Pool – Critical Care

Registered Nurse in a Float Pool for Critical Care. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition, developing and documenting individualized plans of care, implementing and coordinating care with the healthcare team, evaluating outcomes, and educating patients and families. Functions as a preceptor to new staff and as a charge nurse. Demonstrates proficiency in neuro-focused care, airway management, and specialty procedures (neuro assessments, tracheostomy care, suctioning, ventilator care). Must adhere to unit policies, support performance expectations, and contribute to high-quality patient care. BSN preferred and 1 year acute nursing experience required. Connecticut RN license provided as licensure reference; BLS required.
