Job Summary
RN - Float provides and supervises care to patients within the facility, performs ongoing assessments, develops and executes plans of care, administers medications and treatments, coordinates with physicians and nursing staff, and maintains clinical competence. Requires active Illinois RN licensure, CPR, ACLS and PALS within 6 months, and 6 months ED or 1 year ICU experience; role includes inpatient and emergency department coverage, EHR documentation, patient education, discharge planning, and adherence to HIPAA and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure in the State of Illinois as a Registered Nurse
- CPR certification required
- ACLS certification and PALS required within 6 months
- Must have at least 6 months experience in Emergency Department or one year in ICU
