Job Summary
RN Flex Pool (Adult Health) per diem nights: Provides patient care for a designated time frame during 7pm-7am shifts in a Med/Surg setting, supervising licensed practical nurses, unit assistants, monitor technicians, patient care attendants, CNAs, nurse technicians and unit clerks. Delivers nursing care via the nursing process and collaborates with the health care team. Maintains required certifications and licensure, including LA RN licensure and BLS; NIHSS within 6 months, ACLS preferred within 6 months. Requires good physical health, ability to lift at least 50 pounds, and strong computer skills. PRN scheduling; independent thinker adaptable to a changing environment. EOE.
Required Qualifications
- Med/Surg experience preferred
- Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program
- Current LA RN licensure
- BLS required upon hire
- NIHSS required within 6 months of hire
- ACLS preferred within 6 months of hire
