Job Summary
Conduct perioperative nursing practice as a Registered Nurse First Assistant, executing delegated medical functions within the nursing process. Manage patient care in the operating room while adhering to institutional policy and state nursing regulations. Maintain licensure in Florida and hold CNOR certification. Requires an Associate's degree with BSN within three years, three to five years of diversified perioperative experience, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include RNFA certification and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- BSN within 3 years of hire
- Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida
- Certified in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR)
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- 3-5 years Diversified perioperative experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certification as an RNFA through CCI or other recognized RNFA Program
