Job Summary
Conduct perioperative nursing practice as a First Assistant, executing delegated medical functions within the nursing process. Manage patient care in the new 99-bed UF Health Durbin Park Hospital, which opens in fall 2026. Maintain Florida licensure and CNOR certification while supporting diverse surgical populations. Requires 3-5 years of diversified perioperative experience and a BSN within three years of hire. Join UF Health's regional expansion plan for Jacksonville and St. Johns County.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- must have a BSN within 3 years of hire
- Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida
- Certified in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR)
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- 3-5 years Diversified perioperative experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certification as an RNFA through CCI or other recognized RNFA Program
