Job Summary
Conduct perioperative nursing as a Registered Nurse First Assistant, executing delegated medical functions within the nursing process. Manage diverse patient populations while adhering to institutional policy and state nursing regulations. Maintain certification as a Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) and hold current Florida licensure. Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing with a BSN within three years of hire, plus three to five years of diversified perioperative experience. Join UF Health Durbin Park Hospital, a transformative 220,000-square-foot facility opening in fall 2026 in St. Johns County, Florida, featuring 99 inpatient beds and a 24-hour emergency department.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- must have a BSN within 3 years of hire
- Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida
- Certified in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR)
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- 3-5 years Diversified perioperative experience

- Bachelor's Degree
- Certification as an RNFA through CCI or other recognized RNFA Program
