RN First Assist - Main Operating Room

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in the Main Operating Room while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Requires minimum one-year perioperative nursing experience, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications within the first year. CNOR or RN-First Assistant certification is preferred.
